Vestry Notes

One of the aspects of Christian living that is rarely mentioned is that Christians have fun together! Much of what we do corporately is serious: Bible study, prayer, service, worship. But engaged in the Lord's work, we also find time to enjoy each other's company.

GREETERS & OBLATION BEARERS: The ministry of our Welcoming Committee is to meet the members of our congregational family and our visitors at the Church door, welcoming them to St. Timothy's. The Oblation Bearers represent the gathered community in presenting the Bread & Wine at the Altar during our worship.

Various activities enhance the social gatherings of our congregation family. These include our annual pancake supper, Newcomers’ Receptions held at various times during the year, Veterans’ Day Sunday and an Easter Egg Hunt held on the grounds of the church. These are only some of the impromptu get togethers our parishioners enjoy during the year.

Coffee Hour is a staple here at St. Timothy’s. Each Sunday following the service our congregation gathers in our parish hall to enjoy coffee, tea and various pastries. Members of the congregation take turns preparing the coffee and providing cookies or the always popular doughnut holes
